By placing an order with The Herb Room, you agree to the terms and policies as outlined below.

Common Sense

The Herb Room provides a product description which includes a complete list of ingredients.  I use only “natural” ingredients in my products.  Natural ingredients are ingredients that are present in or derived from nature and may not be suitable for everyone.  The information presented on this website is not meant to diagnose or treat any medical condition or to replace the advice or care of a qualified health professional. Knowledge is power – always read your labels and check ingredients.

Allergies and Sensitive Skin

The Herb Room is not responsible for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient.  Please patch test your skin prior to use if sensitivity is suspected. People with sensitivities to any listed ingredient should not use that product. In case you are in doubt always try an allergy patch test and if at any time irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product. I recommend testing products on a sensitive area (inside of wrist or elbow) and allowing 24 hours before full use if you are unsure of sensitivity to ingredients. As with any product applied to the body, if rash or irritation develops, stop using it!

Payment

Online ordering with your credit card is simplified and secure through PayPal checkout. Add items to your cart by clicking the “Add to Cart” button. Make final updates to your cart before clicking the PayPal button. You do not have to be a PayPal member to pay for your items. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards are accepted. I also accept personal checks and money orders, but these orders must be processed via email and require a waiting period before items ship to ensure sufficient funds.

Shipping

Retail orders are filled and shipped within 72 hours of receipt of order. Orders are shipped via USPS. In an effort to strive for sustainability, I also reuse shipping boxes, packing paper, and other packaging materials if they are in good condition.

Local Pick Up

To all you local yokels – thanks for the support! As you know I provide online sales and do not have a physical store. To save local customers on shipping costs, I am happy to accommodate local pick up of orders in the local Austin area: If you are within the Austin city limits and would prefer to pick up your products simply check the box local pick up and I will arrange pick ups by appointment. Why would I do this? I believe in supporting local business and our local economy. It comes down to this: I am a one woman small family business and truly appreciate all my local soap customers and friends. I think my products are that good and know that you appreciate this service and will continue to support The Herb Room.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of The Herb Room natural soap products, I cannot assure the purity of merchandise once it has been shipped. Since this merchandise cannot be restocked or resold, I do not accept returns. Your satisfaction is my goal and I truly believe that you will love my soap products. I now offer small bar sizes which are a great way to get to know The Herb Room soaps.

Damaged Goods Policy

If your merchandise is damaged upon arrival save all contents and packing materials and contact The Herb Room within 3 business days. Failure to do so releases The Herb Room from any responsibility.

Privacy Policy

My Zesty Life is committed to your privacy and will never sell, trade or share your information with anyone! Your email address will be used for confirmation of orders, provide tracking information on an order, new products, specials, and company updates.
